Today was a another great to fly and I took advantage. I was at the airport at 7:30 a.m. and took off at 8:00. I was in N2164Z and the autopilot was not working so I had to do all the work myself. Not a problem it was beautiful at 5500 feet flying northeast from Hanscom Airfield (KBED) just 20 miles west of Boston to the Lakes Region of Maine.

My family has a cottage on Thompson Lake so I took a trip up to Thompson Lake and took a little spin around to check things out.
